Data and disclaimer

Where our data comes from

Builder Labs works out ratings, caps and cap breaker plans through in-game trial and error and public information from the 2K HQ app. When the game is updated, we re-check and update the planner.

What we don't do

We don't access, extract, decompile, reverse engineer, copy or share any NBA 2K game code, game files or other non-public data, and we don't use tools that do.

Builder Labs doesn't connect to, modify or interact with the game, your console or your 2K account. It can't change anything in the game.

A planning tool only

Builder Labs is a calculator that helps you plan a build before you make it. It doesn't unlock content, automate anything or give an in-game advantage. Every build is made by you, in the game's own builder.

Accuracy

Plans are estimates. They can contain mistakes, and game updates can change ratings and caps. Always check a build in the game before spending VC. Builder Labs isn't responsible for VC or money spent in the game.

Not affiliated

Builder Labs is an independent, fan-made tool. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Take-Two Interactive, 2K, Visual Concepts, the NBA or the NBPA. NBA 2K and related names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what the planner is for.
